HOUSE MUSIC DJ

FROM THE UK PLAYING IN THE USA

ABOUT

Back in 1997, MaxiMoss got his first taste of mixing on turntables whilst staying at a friends house in the UK, got hooked and went out and bought his first Technic 1210's.... A few years later, after learning the art of mixing, his debut public performance was a big party at a secluded farmhouse in beautifully landscaped gardens with fields all around. The DJ set up was at the rear of the garden which was higher up than the rest of the gardens and created a natural stage looking down onto the dance floor. A gorgeous summers day, the sun was just coming down, people were arriving, the setting was perfect which will never be forgotten. Over the recent years, MaxiMoss went on to play more parties, and bars around the country and tried his hand at music production and remixing. In 2007, he made front page headlines in a local newspaper for remixing and producing a double funky electro house CD for St Gemma's Hospice, with all proceeds going to the charity. In 2009, he started his own dance internet radio station which enjoyed global success in 75 countries and pulled in big names such as Graeme Park and brands such as Miss Moneypennys for an monthly audience of over 20,000 listeners. The project ran for a year. After reluctantly putting all the vinyl away and sending the Technics into retirement, he is concentrating more on the digital route, which will allow more flexibility and creative freedom in DJ sets and production. In August 2011, MaxiMoss opened the stage with a DJ set for Leeds Pride which was a great milestone moment in his DJ career with an audience of over 23,000 people. Since then he has played alongside the likes of Piano Junkies and Rozalla, was a guest DJ for the famous 'Love to be' clubbing brand and once secured a residency at Club 101 in Yorkshire, UK. MaxiMoss now resides in Florida, USA and is a resident DJ at La La Sangria's in downtown Tampa and performs in Georgia, Las Vegas and Miami.
