Anyma unleashes melodic techno spin of Fred again.., Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Turn On the Lights again..’

Anyma went into the new year with more than a few highly requested IDs. And less than a week after delivering “Eternity”—named one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated releases of 2023—with Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2023 Chris Avantgarde—the co-head of Afterlife has done it again with a rework of Fred again.., Swedish House Mafia, and Future‘s “Turn On the Lights again..”

Premiered by none other than Tale of Us during Afterlife’s return too the Théâtre antique d’Orange in August of 2022, the remix had been making waves ever since, with Anyma’s distinct fusion of melodic techno, techno, and trance that’s already ensured it became a dancefloor staple—either for late-night audiences or massive festival crowds—in the months building to its release. And the remix’s release itself comes as a mild surprise to many considering it had been unofficially shared when Fred again.. gave away a USB following one of his Pangbourne House Mafia shows in London. But either way, listeners are more than thankful to have the remix on streaming platforms, which marks Anyma’s third remix in his career as a producer, and his first since his acclaimed take on RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s “Alive” back in 2022. With Anyma’s signature melodic techno touch and the already titanic popularity of the original, this update already clinches that “Turn On the Lights again..” will carry a second wind in 2023.
