Breakbot, Irfane team up for ‘Remedy’ EP on Ed Banger Records

Breakbot and Irfane have teamed up for their funk-riddled Remedy EP. Capped with four tracks, including “Remedy,” “The Light,” “The Less I Know,” and “Disease,” the collection of new tunes deliver effervescent grooves and smooth rhythms from the frequent, close collaborators.

Funk, techno, disco, and French house all make themselves heard throughout the EP as Irfane’s effortlessly cool, auto-tuned lyrics weave their way through each track. The pair’s longterm collaborative chemistry shines throughout the short, sweet joint project, creating pockets of smooth, groovy discotheque-ready dance fodder.

The Remedy EP arrives via Breakbot’s longtime label, Ed Record Bangers. The musician has been signed to the French electronic imprint since 2009, notably delivering his first smash hit with Irfane, “Baby I’m Yours” that same year. Breakbot will also be touring Europe throughout April, June, July, and August. Listen to Remedy in full below.
