Bryan Softwell turns Bad Bunny’s ‘La Dificil’ into tech-house heat on Repopulate Mars

Ever since Cloonee‘s Club Space set, the hunt for an ID that was backed by an acapella of Bad Bunny‘s “La Dificil” had begun. And once everyone had figured out that Bryan Softwell was the name behind it, his direct messages on Twitter and Instagram were overloaded with requests for its delivery. But Softwell decided to call a last-second audible, deciding that it truly deserved a release via streaming platforms rather than a free SoundCloud download. And Repopulate Mars gave him the opportunity to do just that.

While Bad Bunny’s vocals may have not been officially cleared for Softwell’s use, he found a way to have them replicated as closely as he could. And in its final form, “La Dificil” still hits the Latin tech-house bullseye, arriving just a week before summer’s actual start date so Softwell can formally stake his claim in owning what’s guaranteed to be one of the season’s defining house cuts as Cloonee, John Summit, Lee Foss, and more continue to rinse it.
