Cloonee opens 2023 with one of his most-requested IDs, ‘Badman Sound’

Cloonee has turned in one of his most requested IDs of the previous year to kick off the new year with a bang. Having been an unreleased staple in his sets dating as far back as fall 2021, “Badman Sound” marks the first release of the 2023 for the former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch, which arrives via his very own Hellbent Records.

Cloonee’s latest offering lengthens the trend of his dark, mysteriously crafted tech-house originals, which is also seen in one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2023, “Fine Night.” While his production angle can be closely linked to the underground style found in Europe, Cloonee has undeniably carved out a unique lane for his fresh approach. Using a distorted vocal sample, “Badman Sound” unleashes a wave of energy before employing an alarm-like synth just ahead of the bassline’s introduction before quickly moving uptempo.
