Disclosure assume remix duties for Omah Lay, Justin Bieber’s ‘Attention’

Nigerian artist Omah Lay has had a meteoric rise to fame in the past few years after setting the world ablaze with his standout Afrobeat single, “Do Not Disturb.” Since then, the rising artist has effectively introduced himself to the musical world at large, landing features and collaborations with the likes of 6lack, Olamide, Adekunle Gold, and Wizkid. Most recently, Lay took his next stride towards becoming a true global AAA artist, not only featuring Justin Bieber on his new track “Attention,” but also securing a remix from two of dance music’s trendsetters, Disclosure.

Disclosure have a penchant for house-ifying rousing Afrobeats, and this holds true on their take on “Attention.” Dynamic builds and sappy-yet-melodic synthwork draws a line between the radio leanings of the original and the club orientation of their spin.

Omah Lay’s debut album is expected for release later this month, although the artist recently alluded to further delays. In the meantime, Disclosure’s remix can be streamed in full below.
