April 7, 2022Floating Points has turned in his first single since March’s “Vocoder,” “Grammar.” Taking elements from garage, house, and techno, the genre-spanning number was made for moving feet in the club. Futuristic synths add to the song’s atmosphere while Floating Points’ signature breakbeats keep momentum.
It’s currently unclear whether “Vocoder” and “Grammar” are pieces of a forthcoming though presently unannounced EP, but at a minimum, the productions—his first two solo outings since 2019—indicate that Floating Points is experimenting with his groovy side. Stream his newest single below.
