May 18, 2022Francis VI continues to demonstrate his prowess as one of dance music’s fast-climbing progressive house artists. The 24-year-old producer’s latest offering arrives in the form of an indie-electronic rework of Indiana-based musician Sara Kays’ “Remember That Night.” Released in December of 2020, the original record has since garnered north of 200 million streams on Spotify. Two years later, Francis VI breathes new life into the emotive pop song, layering Kays’ vocals atop a dark and progressive house sequence. “I was ultimately inspired by Sara’s vocals. The original song is very emotional and I felt that it was missing a couple elements, which allowed me to really come in and make it more progressive,” the “Burning Up” producer told Dancing Astronaut.
