Boris Brejcha is known for his unique sets, in which he frequently plays unreleased music to go along with his slew of club-ready hits. However, the attendees at his April 18 Cercle performance at the Arènes de Nîmes, France were treated to something special as every song from the masked beatsmith has yet to be released. The German DJ is making his third appearance for the destination events brand after rave reviews of his 2019 Cercle performance, which has garnered nearly 40 million views on YouTube.
The pioneer of the high-tech minimalist genre, there really is no artist quite like Boris Brejcha on today’s circuit. The enigmatic DJ entrances the crowd with heavy and dark bass layered with progressive chords, offering the crowd at Arènes de Nîmes 16 tunes in just short of two hours. Included in the mix are anticipated IDs of “Level One,” “Space X,” and a reboot of Hardwell‘s “Spaceman”.
