Before Dancing Astronaut’s 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year helps Ultra formally introduce its new Resistance stage—The Cove—on March 26, he’s going back to San Diego’s CRSSD Festival to share his complete set. John Summit had already put in his bid for this summer’s defining house cut with “La Danza” earlier this March, and he’s now continuing to back up why he earned that forenamed title by following up his Club Space stream with the upload of his 73-minute appearance at Waterfront Park.

The newly minted head of Off The Grid—Summit’s own record label and event brand, which will officially launch during Miami Music Week—had prefaced CRSSD Festival by saying he hadn’t been this excited about a set in a long time, and one look at the 22-song tracklist leaves no room for questioning as to why. From opening with an edit of his first 2022 release, Summit’s hour-plus round at The Palms stage is an endless stream of heater after heater, rinsing Bryan Softwell’s must-hear edit of Bad Bunny, his remix of Diplo and Miguel’s “Don’t Forget My Love“—which will be out in early April—his remix of The Weeknd’s “Sacrifice,” an ID of his own—which is expected to be the first Off The Grid release—”Make Me Feel,” and plenty more.
