Gorgon City apply darker touch to John Summit, Hayla’s ‘Where You Are’

Few combos in the dance world come with such a feeling of anticipation as a Gorgon City and John Summit pairing. But that is exactly what we’re facing after the latest addition to the “Where You Are” remix package, with the British duo stepping in to follow GRiZ’s take as the release’s second official take on Off The Grid. And it’s a remix that many had been calling for after making the rounds this past month or so in both artist’s sets.

Capable of both more crossover-ready flavors, and more club-ready approaches, Gorgon City have opted for the latter on this particular rework and are returning the favor after Summit took on “You’ve Done Enough.” And Gorgon City add in an industrial feel to the mix while crossing the lines of tech-house and pounding techno. already proving to be one of the biggest remixes of the summer ahead.
