Barely a month removed from taking a three-part trip to Terminal Underground on his newest EP Beaulieu, Honey & Badger is back to extend his 2022 scorecard. To add onto that tripe-sided EP and a dream opportunity to rework Tchami and Habstrakt‘s “Eternity“, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 has now cinched “Skandal” as his fourth appearance on DND Recs, following “Ket Down,” “Boiler” with Nostalgix, and “Siska” from last October.
While we still hold on for his inclusion on our most-anticipated IDs of the year—a crossover with fellow Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 Kohmi—Honey & Badger is making another lasting mark on BIJOU‘s imprint. Building off the somewhat calmer character that Honey & Badger dipped into with the “Eternity” remix, “Skandal” reinforces his artist to watch footing once more, linking a sample that most would recognize in an instant in tandem with a sultry mixture of crisp tech- and bass-house.
