Cloonee launches Hellbent Records—stream its debut single ‘Tripasia’
April 1, 2022Dimibo return to Ophelia Records with Quackson for ‘Turning Test’
April 1, 2022After linking up for a back-to-back set at 1001Tracklists‘ Miami Rooftop Sessions during Miami Music Week, UK powerhouse Jonas Blue has partnered with Sevenn for “Angles.”
Out now via Musical Freedom, “Angles” cuts no corners, acting as both a colorfully subdued club track and a re-playable jam. The track samples Books Shade’s 2006 single, “In White Rooms,” giving it a new lease on life thanks to a revised, dynamic structure and freshly cut vocals from Jonas Blue himself.
“The idea kinda stemmed from social media and selfies, with people always trying to get their best angles on a photo. When we paired that hook with the music from the Booka Shade track, we knew we had something special. Sevenn coming on board and finishing it with me was the perfect fit to take this one to the next level,” Jonas Blue said of the release.
“Angles” also celebrates Sevenn’s recent signing to William Morris Endeavor, further cementing the Brazilian upstart as one to watch.
