Kohmi has taken this year to not only pad his ever-expanding release record, but to also make his from the outside the studio over to the live stage. And after a pair of supporting slots for Malaa at both Bootshaus and Nexus Paris this past month, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 is continuing the countdown towards his weekend one appearance at Tomorrowland—which will happen on July 17 as part of Monstercat‘s takeover—with his “Nightcall” successor, “STOP.”
Delivered through the newly established Helix Records, Kohmi’s sophomore release of 2022 justifies his placement on our artists to watch yet again as well as why Malaa has continued to take him under his musical wing. Playing devil’s advocate title wise to “Don’t Stop“—his 2020 appearance on Confession—”STOP” digs deeper into Kohmi’s standout, brooding approach within the French lane of bass house.
