LG Is Unveiling A Smart Home AI Agent at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2024.

The initial details shared by the official LG Newsroom shed light on what this product has to offer. Equipped with a built-in camera, speaker, and various sensors, the AI agent focuses on real-time data gathering and user interaction. Sporting a two-legged wheel design, it is set to meet users at the front door and play music or content based on their mood (by assessing the user’s emotions through voice and facial expression analysis, tailoring a music playlist accordingly).

Billed as an “all-around home manager and companion,” LG’s AI agent integrates robotic to make daily life easier. Its functionalities include monitoring temperature, serving as a pet monitor, indoor air quality, and acting as a security guard by sending notifications for open windows or appliances left on.

The AI agent aligns with LG’s vision for a “Zero Labor Home,” aiming to simplify tasks rather than overwhelm users with futuristic capabilities.
