LP Giobbi conjures warm vibes on new piano house single, ‘Forever And A Day’

Watching LP Giobbi‘s meteoric rise in 2022 has been one of the most exciting storylines in dance music this year—you just can’t help but to root for her. Proving to be an unstoppable production force, on nearly a weekly basis at this point, each new work from the multi-hyphenate talent highlights a star in the making that can churn out successive house hits without sacrificing an ounce of quality. Case in point is LP’s latest single, “Forever And A Day,” assisted by Caroline Byrne, that packs a buoyant sense of levity from core to perimeter. Although, before Byrne surfaced with polished, shimmering pop vocals, Giobbi admits the track’s framework ultimately originated elsewhere,

“This track started in a much darker, heavier place, but once Caroline Byrne wrote to the track it took on a whole new dimension of beauty that allowed me to rework some of music to highlight her wonderful voice and lyrics.”

LP Giobbi’s newest single lands just off the heels of her recent outing alongside DJ Tennis and Joseph Ashworth on “All In A Dream.” With a commanding hold on her jazz-informed, piano-inflected house sound, the rising Ninja Tune producer continues her white-hot streak in what is turning out to be a banner year for LP Giobbi.
