LP Giobbi‘s production pace has proven to be that of an unremitting character in 2022, between her FEMME HOUSE North American tour and a steady stream of singles. Nearly each week, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 has put forth a new production, including “Back Tomorrow” with Ferreck Dawn, her latest original with Bklava, “Sinner,” and now, a remix of San Holo‘s famed “bb u ok?”
The remix—which serves as the first single from San Holo’s deluxe edition of bb u ok?—takes on a complete life of its own, enveloping San Holo’s evocative lyricism with Giobbi’s wildly unique instrumentation and uplifting house kicks. The track embodies a 1970’s disco groove while maintaining Holo’s ethereal synth work, which works in symphony with Giobbi’s piano progressions.
LP Giobbi is still making her way across the United States on a tour that includes a slew of stops at high-voltage festivals such as Bonnaroo Music Festival, Kygo‘s Palm Tree Festival in Croatia, Electric Forest, and plenty more.
