Croatia’s very own Matroda has put forth yet another tech-house anthem. Marking his ninth release of 2022, “Hazy” arrives on the heels of the “Forget It” producer’s July collaboration with Wax Motif, “La Candela Viva.” Although the Latin-influenced production is admittedly difficult to follow, Matroda does just that and then some with “Hazy,” now accessible on streaming platforms thanks to Insomniac Records.
The new vocal-led festival weapon arrives amidst Matroda’s current JACK THE HOUSE tour. Last May, armed with an abundance of hits, edits, and IDs, the tech-house tastemaker stunned EDC Las Vegas during his hour-long circuitGROUNDS set, ultimately furthering the argument that house music deserves universal main stage recognition. Fans can expect similarly entrancing energy at Matroda’s upcoming performances at Electric Zoo in New York, Sky SLC in Salt Lake City, VanquishAP in Minneapolis, and at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, California.
