MK enlists Aluna for sultry vocal on ‘Kiss It Better’

MK has released his momentous, first-ever single on Diplo‘s Mad Decent record label. “Kiss It Better” features both MK’s effervescent house melody and vocals from the singularly talented Aluna of AlunaGeorge. Their first time working together on a song, “Kiss It Better” is MK’s first single since July’s “JHUMKA” with SK and Aluna’s first offering since August’s “Follow You” with Kornél Kovács.

“Kiss It Better” is MK at his is best; a vocal-driven house track with deliciously lurid lyrics that don’t distract from the buoyant beat. Aluna uses her inviting croons to attach a sensual appendage to the melodic ensemble. When asked about how Aluna and MK began the collaboration, the former explained that they “were both looking for each other so when we finally got into the studio it felt like something that was a long time coming.” “Kiss It Better” is a fiercely feel-good dance-pop ditty perfect for repeat snacking
