Listeners have been craving a MK and Paul Woolford collaboration since the latter put his spin on “2AM” in August of 2020. Now, once-whetted appetites are satiated as the two house authorites merge creative sensibilities on “Teardrops” featuring R&B duo Majid Jordan.
Jordan’s velvety vocals synchronize with emotionally in-tune, melancholic lyricism that MK and Woolford juxtapose with upbeat production. This is MK’s first deliverable of 2022, following his August 2021 remix of Martin Ikin’s “How I Feel.” “Teardrops” doubles as Woolford’s first release of the new calendar year.
