OCULA opens the ‘Reminders’ remixes with take on Le Youth, Leyet’s ‘Feel Around You’

OCULA found a spot on Le Youth’s Reminders tracklist and now, he’s taking the opportunity to work his magic on a different side of the album. Just over a month after Reminders landed on This Never Happened, OCULA has reunited with Le Youth once more—after their “Spring 2022 Mixtape” intro-turned-album cut, “If Only” with Nathan Nicholson—for a spin of “Feel Around You” with Leyet.

“Feel Around You” had been a fan-favorite Reminders number from the jump and to no one’s surprise, OCULA was somehow able to amplify its perfection. Serving as his first release appearance since his freshman album Crossroads dispersed back in April, OCULA’s “Feel Around You” reimagining wraps some “softer layers” from Le Youth’s original—as he explained in a production breakdown—with his own degree of melodic house bliss beside Leyet’s already faultless vocal work.
