Paul Oakenfold joins the British producer Franky Wah for Bullet In The Gun

Paul Oakenfold joins Franky Wah for an uplifting track called “Bullet In The Gun”. Paul Oakenfold, the electronic music icon, had another massive year of releases in 2023. In October, for example, he released a notable release on Perfecto Records, “Dance All Night (Ibiza)”, a collaboration with Planet Perfecto and Velvet Cash. And now he’s stepped into a milestone with Franky Wah on their new track. Franky Wah has not been idle over the last year also, one of his big achievements being an official remix of Becky Hill and Chase & Status’ summer hit Disconnect. And he started this year with a Yotto remix of the track Just Over, which he put into a much more melodic guise.

The latest track from the two British star producers came out under SHÈN Recordings, Franky Wah’s label. Bullet In The Gun follows a very energetic line in terms of sound. It’s no wonder since its genre classifies itself as Melodic House & Techno. There aren’t many vocals on the song, but what there is has a big impact on the structure of the track. Although the vocals are not credited, they can be referenced to an older Elles de Graaf track. The euphoric melodies that define the sound of Franky Wah also appear in the song.

Paul Oakenfold announced the destinations and dates of his US tour on his official Instagram on 19 January. Franky Wah will focus on the UK and Ireland tours, including Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Dublin. For the latter, it will be the “All Night Long” tour, which will surely be a great opportunity for the up-and-coming musician to spread his melodic sound.

In conclusion, the much-anticipated track by Paul Oakenfold and Franky Wah is an excellent result. The great skill of the 2 star producers has produced a highly melodic but deeply emotional piece of work.
