Foreign Family‘s newest members, Phantoms have begun to reveal their emboldened stripes this year, now sharing a new release with none other than Big Wild on “Firepit.” Following the group’s previous single from early February “Lay It All On Me,” Phantoms now have clearly laid out their fluid melodic-house sound as they begin to expand their catalog under the ODESZA-founded imprint.

Taking flight with Big Wild’s kinetic vocals, “Firepit” touts a calculated and simultaneously uplifting backbone, calling forth the elevated production strong suits of all three producers. Touring together back in 2017, the duo naturally fell into the zone with Big Wild, rekindling an evident chemistry, which makes for an effortlessly well-balanced collaborative work. Big Wild commented on the collaboration,

“When Kyle and Vinnie sent me the initial demo, the chords really stuck with me and I just started creating. This was one of those tracks where ideas were coming so fast that you only hope to catch them all in motion. I love how it turned out.”

This latest delivery from Phantoms comes as a welcomed surprise, considering Big Wild’s last original release was in 2020 on “Who Do You Believe.” Stream the trio’s latest, “Firepit” below.
