San Holo, Lizzy Land pair up on ‘DON’T LOOK DOWN,’ co-produced by RL Grime

A collaboration between San Holo and RL Grime dates all the way back to mid-2019 when the two teased a “very big sounding song.” Almost four years later and we now know what they’d been working on. Looking to put listeners directly on cloud nine, San Holo has delivered that long-awaited release with a helping hand from Lizzy Land and the Sable Valley boss receiving a co-production credit on “DON’T LOOK DOWN.”

Landing via Helix Records, San Holo brings Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lizzy Land over from her recent This Never Happened showings, partnering what he described as “melodic trap” with her soothing vocals. And although RL Grime isn’t on the title itself, “DON’T LOOK DOWN” has a clear production split between him and San Holo, evoking emotion and bringing listeners through a melancholy yet transcending journey as they put mental health at the forefront of the conversation and remind everyone to keep their heads up.
