After more than two years of live play out, Seven Lions and Blastoyz are releasing their highly sought-after psytrance collaboration “Reason For Fighting” featuring ERV ELLO. The Ophelia Records-issued number originally debuted during an Abraxis set at “Seven Lions Presents: Visions #2” in June of 2020, deep in the heart of the pandemic-induced lockdown. The longtime ID became a mainstay in all of the label boss’ sets right up through his performances at EDC Mexico, the Ophelia Records Showcase during Miami Music Week, and his set at Ultra Music Festival‘s Worldwide stage this past month.

“Reason For Fighting” is a balanced blend of Seven Lions and Blastoyz’s sounds, not to mention a welcome follow-up to their 2018 collaboration, “After Dark” featuring Fiora. The track features three unique breaks; psytrance bookends melodic-bass, complementing ERV ELLO’s empowering vocals across the triad. When all is said and done, “Reason For Fighting” will have streamers ready to fight right alongside the sonic trifecta.

“Reason For Fighting” has been “a favorite” of Seven Lions’ to play out since he and Blastoyz got together to make it during the lockdown; stream it in its original and extended formats below.
