Jamaican-American rapper BEAM recently materialized his first full-length album. ALIEN boasts features from Justin Bieber, Jorja Smith, Landstrip Chip, and the globally recognized production guru himself, Skrillex.

BEAM initially established himself in the industry as a songwriter and record producer. In August of 2021, the Miami-based talent cemented his mainstream appeal as a featured artist on Justin Bieber’s Justice LP. “Love You Different (feat. BEAM)” has since garnered more than 50 million streams on Spotify, granting the lyrical acrobat a favorable platform before he’d dispatch his latest solo project.

Though not featured in the song’s title, Skrillex co-produced ALIEN’s 18th track, “BLESSINGS,” alongside Carlton McDowell, Al Cres, Rance 1500, and Adam McDougall. Catchy, cohesive, and emotively effortless, “BLESSINGS” exists as yet another testament to Skrillex’s creative versatility.

2021 saw the dubstep pioneer release “Don’t Go,” featuring Justin Bieber and Don Toliver. Nearing 60 million Spotify streams, the collaborative effort confirmed Skrillex’s undisputed knack for producing hip-hop, and “BLESSINGS” arrives as further affirmation. Stream the record below.
