June 17, 2022Teddy Beats‘ latest single, “Be Mine,” is something of a love charm. The breezy, tropically infused single, written by longtime friend and singer-songwriter Jolee, began as a wedding gift to Teddy Beats and his wife, who doubles as his co-manager. The expression goes, “love works in mysterious ways,” and invariably, so does “Be Mine,” for the sonic souvenir is not only soon to be used by Teddy Beats’ fellow co-manager, Ryan, for the first dance at his upcoming wedding, but also soundtracked Miami Beats/ATLAST Records manager and label owner Sascha de Jong’s recent proposal to his wife. de Jong’s engagement photo with his wife, who also serves as his business partner, provides the art for “Be Mine,” proving a complementary visual accompaniment to a sweet single that nestles naturally into Teddy Beats’ larger catalog.
“Be Mine” follows May’s “Hollow,” with Kerin Maguire; stream it below.
