Vluarr ties orchestral elements with own vocals on final 2022 release, ‘Higher’

Vluarr undeniably bloomed into one of STMPD RCRDS most promising names across the 2022 calendar, racking up six originals to his credit, including a Sentio matchup with the label boss. And the newly instated Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2023 is bumping up that release tally to lucky number seven to ignite his new year campaign ahead of schedule.

Some may recall “Higher” as the finale ID to Vluarr and Seth Hills’ weekend three showing at STMPD RCRDS’ Tomorrowland stage, which was chained to the acapella of Ivan Gogh, Feenixpawl, and Georgi Kay’s “In My Mind.” But in its final form, “Higher” drops that iconic vocal in favor of Vluarr’s own graceful topline, moving alongside orchestral instrumentation—which Vluarr himself commands—and a crisp future house climax that all ties together to set a towering bar for what’s to come from the multifaceted talent in 2023.
