Zeds Dead are continuing to re-energize their house music endeavors and brach further into the genre. And they’re doing so by joining AC Slater‘s Night Bass family for the first time with “One Three Nine,” bringing more attention to their ever-broadening sonic palette and marking their second release of the year after “S.O.S” with Jauz and Nicole Miller.

“One Three Nine” puts Zeds Dead’s musical interests outside of bass music on full display. Having spotlighted a corner of house music through their Deadbeats offshoot imprint Altered States, it’s no surprise that the duo is taking the full house plunge in a somewhat unexpected way. duo is ushering an entirely new cast of artists and sounds. Featuring vocals from UK talent Scrufizzer, “One Three Nine” is everything listeners would hope for when seeing Zeds Dead and Night Bass in the same sentence, enticing listeners with a flowing vocal that melds together with a pulsating mixture of bass- and tech-house.
